As nobody seems to have taken note of what I've said about the Shinels I'll list exactly what I have so far and who they should fit. The greatcoats may be labelled as one size but they fit completely differently:

There are 3 (1x48, 2 x50)that should fit the skinny folk no bother (Carly, Wildfire and Dan). Jay isn't coming so I'll discount him for now as he's less urgent.

There are then 4 that are labelled 48s (russian sizes) but fit more like 42 inch chests. I can quite happily wear 2 with thick clothing underneath and I'm not skinny. The other 2 are a little tighter but still ok. These should still fit people fine and if not they can still be worn on the day by removing the butterfly loop on the back that gives you an extra couple of inches to play with. If they still don't fit then stop lying to yourself; you're not a 42. They can be modified/exchanged afterwards if necessary. So that should be Headshot, Porta, Oddball and Pinkpanzer covered

There is one of 3 54s so far which I will probably reserve for Mi-a-go if Seanebabes and Pete don't mind. Its a length 3 on the label so is probably a better fit for either Pete or Richard and Pete has his parka as a backup option. Sean is welcome to borrow mine which is a 54-4 if his doesn't turn up in time.

Poacher I've talked to about as I doubt his will arrive in time as I'm still awaiting new stock as very large sizes are rare.

This is all based upon no more turning up in time although I am of course hoping the rest (except poachers) will.

I might take up the offer of the leather coat from Lardy if my Shinel doesn't turn up. (Can't remember what size I ordered). Either that or someone can wear my shinel and I'll do the great coat thing.

Its not a leather coat but a grey wool greatcoat. Once I've finished modifying it then it should look close to an officers coat to just call it tailor made. Its much nicer to wear than the rough old shinels. If you want it then it will free up your shinel for someone else, possibly Horus if (or when? :banghead: )the FOR stuff doesn't show.

OK, cool. I think it's Heide that has the leather coat then.....

In any case, I can borrow an officers coat and can therefore lend out the shinel earmarked for me if necessary.

Cheers

HS

If my backup Gimnasterka comes in time for the game, you can use the Officer's webbing off it if you want HS.

Just like to say thanks again for the coats

myself and Dan are both really happy with ours.

Whilst mine felt tight when i first tried it it eventually wore in a bit and now fits perfectly.
After wareing it for most of the sunday morning i can affirm that it was very warm so much so that i ditched it for the last 1hr or so as it was more responsible for making me sweat than the running around.

Cheers

No problem chaps, I'm just glad you're happy. Makes the effort worthwhile. :D

Let me know if and when the flask gets here.

If you can just PM me your address again (I must have it some where but can't find it) I'll get it posted to you. Same for you Porta. I still can't figure out why I didn't have enough. I found out I packed one less than I thought when i got back but I still can't account for one.
